incase Flight Nylon Accessory Organizer

Keeping your pockets full is easy enough, but organizing everything else that goes into your EDC is a daily task in an of itself. And when you throw unwieldy cables and delicate tech into the mix, it doesn't get any easier. Leave it to incase, the experts behind soft goods ranging from laptop sleeves to rolling luggage, to come up with a solution. Their latest Flight Nylon Accessory Organizer delivers the protection and organization you'd want in an EDC pouch with a few features designed especially for gadget enthusiasts.

A tightly woven nylon gives the Accessory Organizer its unassuming yet tough exterior as the first layer of defense from the wear and tear of daily carry. True to its name, this nylon was originally found on military flight jackets and leverages its dirt-, water-, abrasion-, and wear resistance to protect your essentials.

The organizer unzips to open flat like a book, revealing its internal compartments. One side of the organizer features larger slip pockets to fit bulkier items, made with mesh for at-a-glance identification of their contents. On the other side, a larger faux-fur lined zip pocket safely houses your phone or other tech and protects them from scratches. A smaller zip pocket consolidates loose items like SD cards. Elastic webbing of various sizes manages cables, tools, and pens throughout the organizer. Last but not least, a water-resistant zippered compartment on the front of the pouch grants quick access to frequently used essentials, like your keys or a transit card.

At 9.5” x 6” x 2”, this organizer is sized just right to manage gear too big for your pockets. It's versatile enough to organize your general EDC, your mobile office accessories, or toiletries and travel essentials. Toss it in your pack and pair it with a matching laptop case to have all your most valuable gear covered. Check them out at the link below.

Massdrop x Intern Weatherproof Modular Carry Pouches

When it comes to EDC, a “heavy duty” bag doesn't necessarily have to weigh a ton. When you combine the right materials, hardware, and design, you can get a lot of the same performance you'd expect from a much heavier bag. But the real challenge is execution: it's a complex and expensive manufacturing process to achieve a high performance, ultralight bag. If there's anyone who's up to the challenge, it's the Vancouver-based, up-and-coming technical apparel designer who goes by the Techwear Intern. He's proven his design chops by creating a new piece of gear—ranging from innovative bags to first-of-its-kind jackets—every day for 30 days straight. By partnering with Massdrop, he's combining his technical knowhow with high-performance materials to bring you a modular carry pouch system at a price that's hard to beat.

This first release comes as an entire set of pouches collectively dubbed the Modular Adaptive Carry System (MACS). The biggest benefit of a modular system like this is how you can get your setup totally dialed for your exact needs, even as they change. The MACS comes in two types of pouches: the larger Carry Packits and smaller Center-Zip Pockets. The Packits are essentially single-cavity zippered stuff sacks (available in sizes from small to X-Large) ideal for larger, bulkier items. The accompanying Zip Pockets more closely resemble a pencil pouch, useful for quick access or consolidating small, loose essentials. They can be mounted together as a more complete bag option, separated for bag-in-bag packing, or used alone, thanks to the myriad of attachment options available: velcro, MOLLE, G-Hooks, C-Hooks, and integrated carry handles. This sort of versatility is especially valuable when you need to pack differently for various settings: urban EDC, outdoor, travel, school/work, and more.

No matter what you're doing, the MACS features materials that are durable enough and light enough to go anywhere. They feature a fully waterproof and impressively lightweight X-Pac laminated ripstop fabric that's made in the USA for durability and all-round protection. The zippers are also made in the USA and boast extreme water resistance to further keep your gear dry. Even the buckles and hardware use a proprietary thermoplastic polymer that retains strength and stability when exposed to various conditions. By opting for all these lightweight materials, bulk and fatigue under load are non-issues. It's especially crucial for a modular setup that can end up being fairly expansive.

Whether you're looking for a messenger bag, a gear organizer, an ultralight travel belt, or anything in between, Massdrop and the Intern probably have a combination for you in this first drop. The best part is it won't set you back too much either, thanks to Massdrop's production help. Check it out in full detail at the link below and secure your MACS setup before the drop ends July 12th, with options starting at under $20.

Nitecore NTP20 Tactical Pen

When you want to carry a truly tactical pen, it should be one that excels at both writing and self-defense tasks. But too often, what we get focuses on one task over the other. You might find something closer to a kubotan that can sort of scribble something down, or decent jotters that are tactical in aesthetics only. Nitecore's new NTP20 tactical pen aims to strike the perfect balance. Their updated pen design gives you a versatile writing tool that fits your everyday needs while giving you the edge you need to defend yourself or get out of an emergency situation.

As a pen, the NTP20 is quite versatile. It's compatible with eight different ink refills, from Parker to Schneider as well as Apex and Senator cartridges. This gives you a wide range of inks and ink styles to choose from, letting you set up the NTP20 to write the way you want it. The body of the pen is made out of a premium titanium alloy which also helps keep the pen light in hand and in pocket weighing only 1.33 ounces. And at six inches long, it's not too big to carry around.  It even has a streamlined clip at the top to aid in pocket carry, with a ceramic ball underneath that makes for a smooth draw that doesn't catch upon your clothing.

The lightness of the pen makes it easy to write with as well, and the grip areas channeled into the body also help you keep your hands on it. Those same grip surfaces help the NTP20 perform its tactical functions. The shape of the pen and its added length give added leverage during defensive use, while its ultra-hard tungsten tip can break glass in an emergency situation.

The attractive styling of the Nitecore NTP20 draws less attention to its tactical applications when you're writing with it or carrying it, making it easier to EDC as well. Grab one for your loadout at the link below.
