In this this previous post I talked about my survival kit. it’s stored in a Maratac Diplomat Pocket organizer. Since a number of people emailed about and asked about the contents I decided to upload a picture. My apologies for the bad quality, it was taken with al old digital camera. Clockwise from the left:

  • A CRKT can that contains a mini medical first aid kit: gauzes, disinfectant, sutures, band aids, etc.
  • Below it, a Ritter Pico Light, last resort LED light.
  • A little but very sharp neck knife.
  • Below it, a knife sharpener.
  • Waterproof matches.
  • Monocular.
  • A mini notepad with several things, including conversion tables and emergency freqs.
  • Inside the right pocket with the notepad an emergency blanket and mini towels.
  • 550 cord.
  • Suunto compass on a wrist velcro strap.
  • A CRKT K.I.S.S. Knife.
  • A set of mini screwdrivers.
  • A Pocket Widgy.
  • Emergency whistle.
  • A red LED light. Red so it won’t interfere with night vision.
  • Inside the left pocket signal mirror and an UZI tactical pen.

What I am thinking about adding is a patch outside with my blood type and a list of ICE (In Case of Emergency) phone numbers.
