These are the things I feel naked without.  My iPhone 4, a Victorinox SwissArmy Midnite Minichamp (includes a knife, scissors, file, pen and LED light), car/house keys and my wallet.

All I need.  Nothing I don’t.

Editor’s Note: This is a great example of minimalism and utility. I get a surprising amount of naysayers who contend that nobody ‘needs’ a light, knife, pen, etc on them and all you need is your wallet, keys, and a smartphone. Chris’s carry is essentially that but with an inexpensive, compact (58mm) gadget that provides a knife and scissors, among other things, without adding much bulk or liability to his carry. If you’re skeptical about the whole concept, just try carrying a little pocketknife like this with you and see if it ever comes in handy. Or I suppose you could just download a scissors app, right? Anyway, thanks for sharing. It’s nice to see some minimalism on different levels once in a while. Keep it up!
