I light to travel very light, so this is mostly what’s on on near me on a given day. Obviously, I am not “carrying” the Anker battery on me, but it’s always with me… until they come up with a more durable power source for mobile phones. I also have a number of other “carry’s” around me - typically Maxpedition packs loaded up with fire starting, first aid, protection, etc.
I do tend to play by the rule “if you have two, you have one; if you have one, you have none.” So I typically have at least two knives on or near me (oh, so many knives), two or more flashlights on or near me (oh, so many flashlights), two or more fire sources on me, etc.
