My general basic at hand stationary for note taking during daily research work. Suunto Core temperature and barometric pressure are essential parameters to be noted during lab work, the core allows a quick reference check in addition to the higly calibrated anemometers.
I have used the Pentel P205 0.5mm pencil model for over 20 years and am smitten. The AG-7 I bought over 14 years ago and is an impecable writing instrument, same with the Lumocolor, I use the non-permenant as it is perfect to erase if I make a mistake and when writing on general paper like the Moleskine, it does not feather or go through the paper too much unlike other markers, which makes it difficult to write on the obverse side of the same page.
