I have this on my person when ever I am not at work(metal detectors). At home, it's on me, when asleep, it's beside me. Bad people don't take a day off so you shouldn't either.

Love your summary. Do you conceal carry the 19 when not at work? If so, what are your thoughts on it? I'm seriously considering the glock 19.
