This is a bit of old-school and new-school mashed together. When I work on catalog paginations/concepts I've always gone straight to paper for loose sketches. Recently I've chosen to begin to do so in a digital format. Right now, its not any faster or easier or less sketchy. However I can see the practicality of working in a purely digital format for these explorations and am set on a full discovery process.
I made the leather case underneath the iPad Pro.
The JBL Bluetooth headphones have been the best money I've spent on headphones EVER, and I've always ben a Sennheiser snob.
My sketchbook is always in my bag and also acts as a journal of sorts, I don't imagine a digital medium will ever replace it for me. Bottom right is a few of my favorite mechanical pencils purchased from JetPens.com
