When I began my EDC journey Spyderco quickly became my gateway drugs to quality affordable pocket knives. Their storied history, innovations and diverse offerings attracted me to this company. The first Spyderco I got was the Delica 4 and since then it's been in my EDC rotation. I don't care if this journey takes me to the far reaches of high end and custom pieces, I'll always have a Spyderco (and specifically the Delica) in my collection until I die. I guess you can say I'm a propagator of Spyderco.

I've had a myriad of brands-Benchmade, Kershaw, DPX Gear, ZT, CRKT, Chris Reeve. And I've handled a million more, but by far the most comfortable knife I've ever handled has been the Delica. The handle design was made to fit and lock into my hand. Every time I wrap my hand around the knife, it just feels at home.

The full flat grind blade slices like a champ...again and again. The backlock is solid and secure with no play in any direction. It's just a no nonsense knife that was designed to fit in the hand and work and work.

If you're in the market to get a quality time-tested folder, the Spyderco Delica 4 is the way to go. You won't regret it.
