Every day, readers like you proudly share their daily carries to the site. When you see something awesome in an EDC photo and click on it, you’re also letting other EDCers know you find that gear interesting. The most popular gear that get the most views and clicks climb their way to the top of the product feed on the right hand side of the homepage for the community to know what’s trending.

I’ve combed the data and rounded up the top 10 essentials from the month of April (leaving out the most common items you’ve already seen a million times before). That means this isn’t an exact top 10 ranking, but the items below will be listed with the most popular gear first, with picks from the 20 most clicked items in our database. Let’s get to it…

TIHK Key
As seen in: Alec’s Seattle EDC
Used by 7 EDCers

Getting so much attention (as the runner up for the most clicked item in April) is pretty much the exact opposite of what the TIHK, or Tiny Inconspicuous Handcuff Key, is meant to do. But when you see something so small in someone's EDC, you can't help but wonder what it's used for. This gadget can be an invaluable tool for EDCers who value their personal security, as it can ride undetected on your rear belt loop to let you break free from unlawfully used handcuffs in a survival situation.

Mininch Premium Tool Pen
As seen in: Martin’s Perfectly Happy Outdoor EDC
Used by 11 EDCers

At #4 on the list is this multi-tool shaped like a pen. It's like having a whole set of screwdrivers in one, making it easier to carry and operate for your day-to-day repairs and projects.

Boker Plus Subcom Titan
As seen in: Ti Brass EDC
Used by 9 EDCers

This compact titanium EDC knife from Chad Los Banos and Boker Plus came in at #5. It's a good option if you want a smaller knife, especially if you prefer a thin profile for easier pocket carry. In fact, it's so thin, some EDCers use the pocket clip on the reverse side as a double-duty money clip to carry cash.

Serge Panchenko Bean Flipper
As seen in: Jon, an attorney’s Casual EDC
Used by 4 EDCers

Trailing right behind the Subcom is another small blade: a custom flipper from knife designer Serge Panchenko. It's hard to track down, but highly sought after for its excellent materials (G10, tumbled titanium, and 154CM blade steel), quality construction and design, and the fact that it doesn't actually lock, making it ideal for EDCers who need to be mindful of local knife regulations.

Thrunite Ti3
As seen in: Kris, a student’s EDC
Used by over 135 EDCers

The most popular flashlight from April should need no introduction by now, with a loyal userbase of 135+ EDCers. We've recommended it as an excellent entry-level light: it's small enough for a keychain, impressively bright for its size at 120 lumens off a single AAA battery, and offers a rarely seen 0.04 lumen, ultra-low firefly mode for added versatility. And at under 20 bucks, it's a compelling first flashlight to test the waters.

KeyBar
As seen in: Sam’s Current Rotation
Used by 90 EDCers

The KeyBar key organizer came in at #8 on the list, but I wouldn't be surprised if this piece of kit continues to grow in popularity. It isn't as slim as other key organizers out there, but some EDCers prefer their gear to be overbuilt for bombproof durability. Besides making your keys silent and more orderly, the KeyBar also boasts a pocket clip for secure, quick access.

Bongo Ties
As seen in: Zac’s Revised EDC for Technical Camera Support

Plenty of EDCers carry cables in some form or another, and Zac's clever use of these cable managers in his EDC secured their spot at #11 on the list. They're useful especially if you need to bundle and unbundle cables often, like Zac does when working with camera equipment. Even if you don't work with cables, you can repurpose these for other EDC duties. Zac turned one of his Bongo Ties into an ultra minimalist wallet for his cards.

Tooligan SOS Pocket Tool
As seen in: Black and Copper Carry

This one piece multi-tool's compelling circular design landed it a spot at #14 on the list. It's laser cut from 1/4" thick stainless steel to include a hex driver and 4 wrench sizes for light duty fixes.

Gerber Mini Paraframe
As seen in: Chris’s Weekend EDC
Used by over 75 EDCers

The smallest offering in Gerber's Paraframe family earned the #15 spot. With a 2.22" long blade and sturdy pocket clip, it's already plenty pocketable. But its signature skeletonized handle cuts weight down even further and offers an integrated frame lock for added functionality. Not bad for an $8 EDC knife, right?

Monolith Leather Goods Bullet Pen Card Wallet
As seen in: Jeff’s Updated Work Carry

Rounding out our top 10 list is this minimalist wallet that not only carries cards and cash, but it even has a slot for April's #1 most clicked item—the beloved Fisher Space Pen. Chances are, you're already carrying a bullet pen and a minimalist wallet, so it's no wonder this caught the attention of so many EDCers on the site. It's made by hand from durable saddle leather and premium waxed cord thread to last and last, like a good wallet should.
