As always, I try to keep my EDC as light (880g / 31oz) and minimalistic as possible, without having to sustain a loss in terms of functionality and looks.
I now carry a serrated 'Ka-Bar TDI Law Enforcement' fixed blade (as well as the WE Knife 617a) I added it to my carry because I honestly have more trust in a fixed blade than in a folder, which I reckon is pretty hard to deploy in a self defense situation. Better Safe Than Sorry.
