When a piece of gear promises an endless list of features, there's a fine line between truly functional and downright gimmicky. Even as relative newcomers to the EDC scene, Everyman has proven they know how to combine everyday utility and timeless design with successful Kickstarter projects like the Grafton Pen and Porter Key Knife. Their newest project, the Hideout Pack, tackles your commute, travels, and everyday adventures with a vintage-inspired design that simply gets it right.

To be tough enough as your one bag for all your hauls, the Hideout Pack doesn't skimp on the materials. It sports heavyweight 1680D ballistic nylon for durability with a polyurethane coating for added weather resistance. A tarpaulin bottom lays the foundation for peace of mind when knocking the bag around even on rough or dirty surfaces. Oversized YKK 8.0 zippers are a great choice for the bag, letting its 3-way zipper system glide open with little effort.

Unzipping the center of the pack reveals the main compartment with laminated mesh dump pockets on either side. This clever combination of pocket placement, antimicrobial materials, and zippered storage makes them versatile enough to use for quick access, organizing smaller gear, or even keeping a change of clothes separated from the rest of your essentials. Beyond those pockets you'll find even more organization for your carry in an integrated admin panel.

Your laptop and tablet can hide out in the back of the pack, nestled safely in a felted wool sleeve that even opens flat to make getting through airport security a breeze. Ample storage for the rest of your gear rounds out the pack: a zippered dump pocket in the top lid for quick access, a fleece-lined zippered pocket for shades and screens under that, a security pocket for your passport, wallet, or other valuables hidden in the back plate, and two different keychain attachment clips for more carry options.

The project also includes a dopp kit to complete your travel setup. Check them both out at Everyman's fully funded Kickstarter project below.
