These are my essentials that are always on me when I step out the door. Adding the Day Sling to my EDC opened up my options for backups and convenient tools that I would otherwise have left at home, like a packable bag for groceries or larger items that don't fit in my pockets.

Not shown but are in the sling are a folding phone stand, pen, miscellaneous cables, an extra CR123A battery, and pocket-sized mouthwash and cologne bottles for freshening up.

Hadn't heard of that Day Sling, and have been looking for a good sling. That alone is a reason to like this EDC in my opinion!

Thank you, and yes it's been serving me well!

It's kinda cool to see someone else carrying a Victorinox 580 because I just recently got one and no one else seems to carry one. I keep getting asked what model it is. It's a great piece of gear!

Over the years I've found how incredibly useful a nail clipper is to have at all times. You get that one good hangnail you can't take off and it bothers you the rest of the day!

Yup! Just yesterday I had a tiny bit of my nail split and I didn't notice until it bushed against something, felt like I got a nasty paper cut. Not even 30 seconds later it was gone and I was back to whatever it was I was doing. Things like that are why I carry the EDC I do, get things done quickly enough it doesn't disturb the rhythm of my day.

Exactly! And it's a bonus that it so happens to be in a compact shell joined by great scissors and a knife when needed. :)

I like seeing that you carry one of the new Ti2 Para-biner, but you should'a held out for the PB-6. :-) I got the PB-4s for my boys and like the heft of the PB-6 much better.

I actually have both and just preferred the size of the PB-4 more. Just the right size for me in terms of utility vs. size/weight. :)
