Pacsafe Venturesafe X 24L Backpack

These days you have plenty of options for getting the best gear in the best materials. Anti-impact. Anti-corrosion. IPX8-rated resistance. But even with the most robust gear on the market there’s one thing they can’t defend against: theft. But there’s more to protecting your gear than just putting a pile of locks on your bag. Companies like Pacsafe are making it their business to keep your essentials safe in bags designed with the urban commuter in mind. And with the launch of the Venturesafe X backpack, you get a full day’s worth of security in a backpack that can carry and protect your entire EDC.

It’s not a Pacsafe bag if every aspect of the bag didn’t come with at least one point of security. For the Venturesafe X, this starts from the outside. Its straps are lined with steel cable paired with extra-strong Dyneema material so they’re next to impossible to cut, which lets the right strap double as a security tether to a pole or table. The bag’s outer shell also comes lined with a web of steel Pacsafe calls eXomesh, preventing entry via slashed openings. Its straps and zippers all congregate into Pacsafe patented security fixtures, including a Roobar Sport system to completely lock down main compartment zippers as well as a PopNLock security clip that lets the aforementioned strap disconnect and secure the bag onto an immovable object.

The Venturesafe X’s interior isn’t lacking for security features either; its internal pockets are RFID blocking thanks to the bag’s lining. There’s also plenty of organization between dedicated slots for your essentials, expandable mesh pockets, and dedicated tech slots for a 10” tablet and 15” laptop. A few extra touches like the X-shaped compression/stow straps on the front exterior and a removable hip belt gives the bag extra value as an everyday or travel bag.
