The CRKT Jumbones makes the case for the larger EDC folder, being a scaled-up version of one of the brand’s most popular designs. The 6061 aluminum handle scales hide nestled locking liners and offer distinct aesthetics: a darker anodized, diamond-textured surface combines with smooth, brushed areas forming an “X” over the side of the handles—a trademark from its progenitor, the CRKT Crossbones. This larger sibling sports a large 4.8" AUS-8 blade that’s more than capable of your daily cutting tasks, providing a tough and corrosion-resistant edge that’s easy to touch up out in the field. The slim trailing point design features a full flat grind and offers excellent slicing performance. It jets out of the handles via a low-profile but jimped flipper tab, and rides on the IKBS ball bearing pivot system for smooth action when deploying the blade or dropping it shut. A stainless steel deep-carry pocket clip secures this 5.7-ounce knife in your pocket, while the metal backspacer features a hole for attaching some cordage. If you’re looking to carry large for your EDC knife, the CRKT Jumbones is a solid and sharp-looking option. Check it out at the link below.
