When it comes to EDC sometimes the most important pieces of gear you carry are the smallest. Back in September I made some choices that I thought would irreparably change my life. I walked away from almost my entire life, thinking it was what I was supposed to do. But then it hit me, that it wasn’t supposed to be like this. And so began a journey that will last a lifetime. There is much healing to be done. But as I look at this photo. The most important piece of gear in this list, is the ring on my finger.

I had never owned a SOG knife before, but the flash converted me to fandom!

The worn bluing of the blade indicates that it is a working tool. And the position of the clip is most comfortable if you are right-handed.
What is your opinion on the quality of steel?

I have beat the heck out of it and only have sharpened it once since I got it. I did just send it back to sog for some repairs. So now we’ll see how the warranty is!
