Function Before Fashion

I was only recently introduced to the concept of EDC, and decided to share what I have been carrying for work and play for years. I go through about 5-6 tubes of ChapStick annually, and I do use them down to the nub. My Leatherman Super Tool is so old it says "Pat. Pending" on it. After 17 years of daily use and abuse the only defect is a tiny chip out of the smallest screwdriver from when I used it as a pry bar. One item I am surprised I have not seen in anyone's EDC is a box cutter. Mine is customized with a Pepsi decal, since delivering Pepsi products is what I do. My box cutter is my primary cutting blade because I can give it a fresh blade for pennies whenever I need to. My writing utensil selection varies a lot, but lately I have been using the InkJoy. I haven't had good luck with pen retention so I don't spend heavy. My Fossil wallet is flat out awesome. It is super durable, and extremely functional. My flashlight is also not a big spend at under $15 but I bought 3 of them after the original purchase. This one seems remarkably well made for the price and throws a fantastic beam with a fresh battery. Finishing up is just a guilty pleasure with my Spyderco Delica 4. This is my first Spyderco knife but it certainly won't be my last.
