It’s rare to find a chronograph you could call “minimalist.” Extra sub-dials and markers tend to crowd and overwhelm the dial. MVMT’s new Chrono is an exception. It offers typical chronograph features (a 60-second timer, a 60-minute timer, and 24-hour time) with a refreshing visual simplicity. At 45mm, its brushed stainless steel case provides enough wrist presence to make a statement, but not a loud one, thanks to MVMT’s signature minimalist styling. There’s an almost sterile look throughout: barely-there markers span the inner edge of the case, while subtle details like the hollowed-out sword hands, cut-out MVMT logo, and offset date window complete its modern look. Each piece in the collection sports a Japanese miyota quartz movement and water resistance up to 5 atm.
