Very well thought-out! May I suggest a parachute fabric hammock? I love mine. I'm 6'3" 200lbs and I "three day" (normally one night) camp with a very similar set up. I use a eberlestock gunslinger bag and I slip my AR in there with me. I camp in western OR and WA. I wanted something that has more punch than my 1911. BTW I love epic bars lol.
