Everything I carry has to live in my pockets. Space is limited, and I don't want to wear a "Bat Utility Belt" with stuff hanging off all over the place. My EDC always includes: fire, water (purification tabs), light and sharp knife. Inside the Camel Snus tin are: flint, tinder, bandages, thread, MSR Aquatabs and a few more bits (readers can check out http://www.goodsensedefense.com/survival-tin/ to see everything). This is an inexpensive EDC that meets many everyday needs, while keeping me prepared for the not-so everyday.
