These are the usual contents of my backpack, when I'm at the university. My Fisher Space Pen is not on the picture, because occasionally I leave it in my office.

As a fellow academic and EDC'er I certainly appreciate your EDC! How large is your backpack?
Daniel Bardos ·
Thanks! It's not so big, around 20 litres, but thanks to the grid-it organizer it's quite slim even if there are a few books in it besides all of this stuff.

Really cool EDC dude. As a fellow PhD student I'm wondering what the knife is for?
Daniel Bardos ·
Thanks! Well, the Opinel is my EDC knife, basically it's mostly for everyday tasks like opening packages, cutting things and so on. Moreover it's a really cool little knife, lightweight, has a good carbon blade and benchwood handle, looks great and inexpensive as well, so it's a little bit about the feel of it.
