Far prefer reading on this to both the iPad and an actual paper book. Family sharing is simple, battery life is unbelievable, and eye strain is nonexistent. May consider updating to the paperwhite for backlighting and touch capability if this ever breaks.
I've gone through maybe 4 Kindles in the last 6 years. I use, abuse, and love them. This one currently holds the Histories of Herodotus, Karl Popper's Conjectures & Refutations, Wiener's God & Golem, Inc, and the unbelievably good Norton History of the Mathematical Sciences.
