This is by far my all-time favorite non-traditional EDC knife. I also own the orange SV-90 CutleryShoppe version. It is feather-weight, highly ergonomic, and strong. The pocket clip is perfectly designed as well. The only detracting attribute with a knife this light, is some cutting tasks are more efficient with a heavier blade, as the "heft" eats up some of the work your hand would otherwise be doing. This is especially true when cutting things like zip ties. Overall, perfect blade for just about any activity, to include EDC, backpacking, light-use woodcraft, fishing, and military/tactical. Probably not recommended for hunting, as the handle is pinned and therefor cannot be removed for cleaning should any blood find its way inside the inner-workings of the knife.
The Spyderco Manix 2 light weight in translucent blue is seeming to become my most carried knife. It has been perfect for EDC, hiking, fishing and probably much more.
Love it, Love Spyderco. Light Weight, Med-Large. US made. Back Right Pocket Clipped.
