My EDC blade. For the size of this folder it's surprisingly light.
Hi this is my review of zt 0452cf, so lets get started.
I don't buy knives very often cause there's not much designs I really like. For my use a knife has to fill pretty much all rolls, a edc utility task, defensive option and it must be lightweight and comfortable to carry. Blade length I prefer is around 4" and this ZT come as replacement for my Spyderco police g10.
ZT 0452cf features a s35vn blade steel which categories in a super steel class and has good wear resistance and takes a really nice edge. The knife feels incredibly light in hand due to its size, ergos on the handle are good and there's no major hotspots, some users find that they have hard time opening the blade due to pushing a lock bar while griping. I don't find this to be a case with me. Knife has deep carry pocket clip (reversible left to right, tip up only). A slim and lightweight design ensures ease of carry and fast deployment.
The blade is deployed using a flipper, a KVT ball bearings provide silk smooth action. Knife is using titanium framelock system with steel insert at the end providing steel on steel contact which also act as lock stop preventing over extension while disengaging a lock. Over all fit and finish are superb.
