Clip & Carry Swiss LinQ Keychain Case

Few tools offer the sheer value and capability per square inch that a 58mm Swiss Army Knife does. For something small enough to sit on your keychain, you get an entire EDC’s worth of functionality, from tweezers to blades to scissors to so much more. But the tool does have its drawbacks. By dangling freely on your keychain it’s prone to making noise or get damaged by its proximity to your keys. And worse, it’s harder to use the tool itself with the rest of the keychain in the way of your task. Clip & Carry’s Swiss LinQ is a simple solution to all these problems. By offering a secure way to stash and deploy a Swiss Army Knife, it brings the tool to its full potential for EDC.

The efficiency of the Swiss LinQ is in its simplicity. Instead of hooking up your multi-tool onto your keychain, the Swiss LinQ instead allows you to dock the tool into its ABS and PC plastic shell. By taking the place of the SAK on your keychain, it protects it from damage and jangle, while at the same time giving you quick access when you need to deal with a task. When duty calls, you can detach the tool itself without the burden of the rest of your keys.

Its durable construction lets the Swiss LinQ withstand the rigors of daily use, and retains its shape even after extended use. It measures 76mm tall by 11.5mm wide, making it compatible with the Victorinox Classic SD, Jetsetter, and Rally 58mm models. It weighs 0.025 oz and is designed to to fit your multi-tool like a glove, saving your keychain from any extra bulk.

Clip & Carry is a brand by StatGear, who have published and fulfilled over a dozen successful Kickstarter campaigns. If the Swiss LinQ’s caught your eye, you can get one (or more) at a special price at their fully funded campaign at the link below.

Trending: Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Co-Axial Master Chronometer

Since the movie Goldeneye the Omega Seamaster has been James Bond’s inseparable companion, making it one of the most recognizable watches in recent history. The Seamaster 300M Master Chronometer released in 2018 brings the watch from the silver screen into your own personal spy story. Its centerpiece is its blue ceramic dial, sporting a beautiful, laser engraved wave pattern. Its hands and markers feature a chromed edge for a more eye-pleasing look, treated with Super-LumiNova paint for low-light visibility. This version of the Seamaster features a “Master Chronometer,” which is visible through the watch’s caseback. Compared to the original 1993 version, this one sits taller, so it’s less likely for the crown to dig into your wrist. The stainless steel 42mm case sports a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal for extra protection. On top of this case, you’ll find a uni-directional aluminum bezel with a luminous point at the 12 o’clock position. At its heart is an in-house automatic movement, powering the watch, the chronometer, and the date complication at the 6 o’clock position. A 300M water resistance gives the Seamaster the seafaring capability of its namesake. This is a watch with an amazing performance, aesthetic, and history, and you can check it out in the link below.

The HoneyBee is part of Spyderco’s Bug series of super sharp micro-knives, and may be tiny, but it packs a lot of functionality. Despite being the “middle child” of the Bug family, it remains quite small at only 2.06“ when closed, making it ideal for a keychain or 5th pocket carry. The 3Cr13 blade measures 1.67” and features a modified drop point shape, with a more aggressive angle on its tip. This combined with its full-flat grind makes the HoneyBee great at both cutting and piercing tasks. As for deployment, this tiny slipjoint features Spyderco’s trademark Round Hole. The stainless steel handles come in an ergonomic shape to maximize grip and control, even at this size. Finally, while it might not have a pocket clip, it does have an attachment point at the end of the handles, for either a lanyard, a small chain, or a keychain. You can get it in this attractive version with black oxide coating on both the blade and handles in the link below.
