Aer Work Collection 2

No matter how long or how far the commute, eventually you’re going to have to put your head down and get to work. That means among all your bags, the one that organizes your essentials to get the job done is often the most important. After helping you tackle your travel gear with their Capsule Collection, Aer is back with the next generation of their Work Collection. The Aer Work Collection 2 rethinks the popular collection’s materials, organization, and aesthetic to streamline your workflow even more. With familiar silhouettes getting a feedback-driven fresh take, as well as a new entry to fit a minimalist EDC, the collection is ready to get to work.

Making a return from the first generation Work Collection are the Tech Pack 2, Day Pack 2, Commuter Brief 2, Tech Sling 2, and the Cable Kit 2, from the largest and with the most compartments to the smallest in the line. All the bags retain the same minimalist, understated design on their exteriors, thanks to a new, double-coated carbonate 840D nylon face fabric that gives the bags a matte look while offering improved weather resistance from the original. This, combined with the familiar use of 1680D ballistic nylon, YKK zippers, and Duraflex hardware keep in line with Aer’s signature design language. The Tech Pack 2, Day Pack 2, and Commuter Brief 2 also retain their free-standing structure from their originals, allowing you to set down the bags without fear of tipping them over when you’ve settled down to work.

Aer have taken community feedback from the original collection and turned them into thoughtful changes for the new line. First and most important is a redesigned laptop compartment to make use of a false bottom to keep your machine suspended and safe from drops, paired with a new soft lining for additional protection. The interior nylon also received an upgrade, and now comes in a soft-touch, woven fabric for a premium look and feel. Luggage pass-through straps have been added to the larger models, ensuring that your work is able to travel with you when the need arises. Last but not least, the bags’ silhouettes have been streamlined and resized for better usability and comfort when you’re on the move.

In addition to the line’s refreshed features, the Slim Pack joins the new Work Collection, and as its name suggests, offers the slimmest profile among the backpack models. Top and side handles offer a grab and go design, and a luggage handle pass-through strap offers convenience when you need to fly. A 15“ laptop compartment and a modest complement of zip and elastic pockets on the top and interior offer a minimalist pack that focuses on doing more with less.

Whether on your daily commute or working in a café, heading into the office or packing up for your next work trip, Aer’s Work Collection 2 means business. Check out the collection at Aer’s site at the link below.
