On-person daily carry for a undergrad student/tech support squirrel living in earthquake country:
- Knife (no, I don’t carry them all at once… I rotate carrying a Spyderco UKPK, Spyderco Delica 4 FFG, Benchmade 943, Kershaw Skyline, or a Spyderco Dragonfly2
- Index cards for random notes
- Pilot G2 pen
- 4Sevens Quark MiNi 123 flashlight
- Old busted Samsung cell phone
- Victorinox Tinker (loaner and for use around knife-phobic people)
- Keychain (Fox 40 Rescue Howler whistle, USB flash drive, bike and mailbox keys)
- CountyComm NY-LA Wallet
- Belt case for spare CR123A flashlight batteries
Editor’s Note: Firstly, nice rotation of knives. They’re all great values that fit within a lot of EDCer’s budgets and I don’t find them overkill for the most part, making them great for general urban EDC use. The only thing that stands out to me is that it seems you’re overcarrying backup batteries for a light as small as the Quark Mini. You should consider trying to carry say, a single extra battery in a spy capsule on your keyring maybe, or upgrading to a full-sized 2xCR123 configuration light to make use of the batteries you have. Otherwise, looks good… keep it up! Thanks for sharing.
