Hey, I love the blog. But I get the feeling it’s all about the dudes… as a minimalist lady, I have to represent:

  • Keys
  • Cell phone (upgrading to an Iphone ASAP!)
  • Shu Uemera lighter from Japan
  • Red lipstick
  • Swiss knife/manicure set (the scissors and nail file are CRUCIAL)
  • Pepper spray (I would prefer a serious knife, but they are often used against women in mugging situations)
  • Pouch for tobacco and rolling papers, with a couple band-aids and Ibuprofen for emergencies
  • Wallet with coin-purse section
  • Moleskin
  • PILOT fineliner
  • Matt&Natt laptop carrier/ my bag

Yes, this is really all I carry. Not too gear-heavy, I know. But as far as practicality goes, this kit cannot be beat. Show your girlfriends, they will be converted!!

Editor’s Note: WHAT GIRLFRIENDS? Nice loadout, the SAK is a good choice… I’ve gotten good feedback from girls who started carrying SAKs off of my recommendation. I think you should really add a light to this though, especially if you carry pepper spray. Besides the general usefulness of being able to make light when you need it, walking around with a flashlight would probably make potential attackers think twice… With that said, stay safe, thanks for sharing and carry on~
