Tactica Talon

When you’ve got good gear and you use it hard, all the scratches and scuffs that come with it are just the cost of doing business. Sometimes, the battle scars and patina make your gear look even better. But scratched up phone screens? Not so much. The Tactica Talon, on the other hand, is gentle on your tech but tough on EDC tasks thanks to its innovative, non-scratch composite materials. And with 17 tools packed into its unibody design, that’s just scratching the surface.

Besides its materials, what sets the Talon apart is how it handles bits. You can actually store two bits inside the Talon’s unibody frame via a soft elastomer latch that locks them in place. The Talon even offers two ways to drive bits depending on the task at hand: either by using the tip of the storage compartment for more control, or by turning the tool sideways and using the secondary socket if you need more torque.

The rest of its tools should handle most of your day-to-day tasks, with its wide-mouthed bottle opener, TSA-friendly box opener, rulers, and set of imperial and metric wrenches. For EDC, it’s equally well-suited to ride on a keychain or deep in your pocket, given how its polymer construction is soft to the touch and 40% lighter than titanium.

The Talon is available as a reward on Kickstarter with an estimated delivery of this December. It’s Tactica’s second successful campaign to date, and the campaign is already fully funded. Grab a Talon for your everyday carry at the link below.
