You know a manufacturer's onto something when they're three generations into a product, making nothing but improvements every time. The S10R is Olight's flagship rechargable flashlight, and its third iteration gives you more power, more features, and faster charging in a smaller footprint. It cements the S10R as one of the best flashlights for everyday carry, giving you a great balance of power and size.

Like its predecessors, the S10R Baton III is powered by a custom rechargeable 650mAh RCR123A battery. This is paired with a new Luminus SST-40 LED that can output up to 600 lumens, a 100-lumen improvement from the S10R Baton II. This capacity also lets the S10R run for up to 15 days on its 0.5-lumen mode. You can change modes with Olight's signature low-profile side switch, a perfect match with its 2.7” length, 6% shorter from the previous Baton. Also new is a timer function that lets you adjust the S10R's output for 3- or 9-minute bursts.

A new USB desktop charger comes with the Baton III, the fastest charging dock for Olight's S series. The light is also compatible with previous portable magnetic charging cables (MCC), handy if you have one from older models. Finally, the Baton III comes with an improved lanyard with perforating tool to pair with its clip and magnetic tail, giving you tons of options for both use and carry.

Compact, rechargeable flashlights don't get any better than this. Pick up Olight's latest and greatest Baton from Amazon at the link below.

I concur, usb is a highly practical solution for people that spend a lot of time in an office environment, and a poor choice for those that don't, although there is an large choice of power blocks that allow usb charging, they weigh a lot more than a couple of AA batteries..

They should rename this the "Beefy Deskjockey" USB is nice until your somewhere without power to charge it.
