For many years, I had a carry like this, but got burned when a swiss army knife was confiscated at a ballpark, so I pared way down. I have since rediscovered the gentleman's life, and I've been working on this specific carry all year. It started with the leather iphone case, a vintage handkerchief collection, a red Victorinox Sportsman, and an old, old, leather wallet that died a few months ago.
