It's a pretty good slicer if you put a decent edge on it as I found the factory one a bit dull. It has a fairly thick blade stock though so it will never slice like say a delica 4

The nirvana is for wet or sticky things that I don't want getting inside the Microtech, and the victorinox is more for the scissors and file.
