Whether setting off for that well-deserved vacation or blazing trails on the weekends, it's hard to completely unplug and leave all your tech behind. Which becomes a hassle, given you have to pack both your tech essentials and your travel gear separately in purpose-built packs. Or do you? While many bags are designed to be outdoor bags first with tech protection as an afterthought, the Lander Carry System of bags truly aims to take you from the office to the outdoors with no half-measures for both quality and protection.

The system is divided into four components: a 36L Traveler pack, a 25L Commuter pack, the Kit dopp kit, and Parcel collapsible packing cube. You have a choice of the two former for your main pack with the space and features to fit your needs, and the latter two are modular additions to expand and extend the capacity of your Traveler and Commuter.

The Traveler is the Lander's flagship bag, and comes with quite a few features for both in and outdoor essentials. Its Cordura EcoMade exterior is recycled, durable, and DWR (durable water repellent)-coated for all-weather performance. It's got a front pocket with interior organization and a soft pocket lined with microfiber for more sensitive essentials. Its roll-top cargo section (with inner mesh storage) unzips completely for easy access to its internals, with a shoe compartment, water bottle pocket, and haul handles for ease of carrying.

The Crash Pad is the Traveler's key to protecting your valuable tech. It's a safe storage area on the rear of the pack, and includes a padded laptop sleeve (for computers up to 17”), protected wireways for your cables, and taped seams for even more waterproofing for your gear.

The Commuter comes with all the Traveler's core features including the Crash Pad, trading capacity and the roll-top for an extra water bottle compartment and cargo straps. And with the Kit and Parcel, both packs are customizable to fit your needs and carry from workday to weekend. There's a little over a week left to back the Lander Carry System modules of your choice at the Kickstarter link below.
