EDCers like you come to this site every day to submit their own gear and check out what everyone else is carrying these days. Looking at how others use their tools is a great way to learn how to make your own day-to-day that much easier or even find out about a new tool you never knew existed that could make all the difference in your setup.

Whatever the reason, every time you click on an item, you let others know what gear interests you most. All those clicks tally up and sort the Gear section in the top menu of the site in real time.

Now that November's over, we can highlight which gear had the most clicks and last month that ranged from pocketable fixed blades to new and classic multitools.

As the days get shorter in winter finding a solid EDC light seems to be a main concern for plenty of readers, and one light that drew lots of eyes was the FOURSEVENS Preon P1. When you consider that it has a maximum output of 100 lumens, a handy pocket clip along the side, improved grip on the body, and that it accepts a common AAA battery it’s no wonder this was a popular choice among readers this past month. 9. Keyport 3.0

Keys are one of the most annoying things to carry, but also one of the most important. So it’s no surprise that one of the most popular items viewed was the Keyport 3.0. This gadget turns your jingling bulk of keys into a slick and easy to carry tool that you can also add a blade or USB stick to. Color-coded thumb studs along the outside let you quickly identify which key is which and lets you slide them out in a breeze when you need to unlock something, and a small built-in flashlight can come in handy when you need to find something in a pinch.

8. EOS Cases Titanium Wallet

You can’t go too far into EDC without taking a long look at your wallet, and plenty readers found the EOS Titanium 2.0 Wallet worth a look. It’s made of lightweight yet durable Grade 5 titanium but also has a unique raw finish that makes it pleasing to the eye. 7. StatGear Pocket Samurai 

If you’re a fan of knives with unique designs (and there must be a lot of you here), then check out the StatGear Samurai. Its tanto-shaped blade features 440C stainless steel and a thumb stud for simple and effective deployment. What makes this so unique besides its katana-inspired design is that you can easily carry it on a keyring. With a titanium handle and frame lock this little guy only weighs about 1 ounce making it perfect for EDC.

6. Nite Ize DoohicKey 

An oldie but a goodie, the DoohicKey by Nite Ize is clearly still a popular tool. Its small size makes it perfect for keychains and because there’s no blade it’s travel-friendly too. You’ll be able to bring a bottle opener, box cutter, and flathead screwdriver with you wherever you go and thanks to its carabiner clip design carrying it is a breeze.

5. Cold Steel Secret Edge

Not all EDC knives need to be folders and flippers. In fact one of the more popular last month was this fixed blade. At 3” in length you get a knife that is small enough to hang in a sheath around your neck but large enough to get things done when you need it to. The wide base and narrow tip make for effortless piercing and slicing and its light weight means it won’t slow you down.

4. CRKT Acquisition

Out of the dozens and dozens of EDC knife options from CRKT, the Acquisition fixed blade got most of your attention this last month. This tactical knife rocks a black oxide finish to protect against corrosion over time and a 3D-patterned glass reinforced nylon handle that makes it easy to grip. At 4” in length and made from 8Cr13MoV steel, this drop point blade would make a solid addition to any carry where a folder wouldn't cut it.

3. Secrid Mini Wallet

If you’re in the market for a slim wallet that adds some flash to your carry, check out the Secrid Mini Wallet. One of the more interesting multitools to come out of SOG recently was the Baton Q4, and plenty of you thought so too as it one of the most viewed tools last month. SOG reimagined plier-based multitools with the Baton series, and the Q4 gives 10 everyday tools in a slim design you can slide in your pocket. You’ll get pliers, a flathead screwdriver, a wirecutter, and it can even hold your spare bits when you’re not using them.

EDC pouches are so popular because anybody can carry them and their possibilities are endless. So it isn't too surprising that the top spot is a gear pouch, but what may come as a surprise is that it's a newcomer.
