As always, I try to keep my EDC as light and minimalistic as possible, without having to sustain a loss in terms of functionality and looks.

I'm curious of the date marking on the Field Notes. I do the same thing with mine but.. What do you do once the pages are filled? Do you sort of store the field notes in an archive of sorts?
Kevin J Meyer ·
No, I just throw them away

What do you think of the olight i3t? I can't make my mind up weather to get it or not...

Hi Nicholas, i just got it since yesterday (07.24.18) so I really can't give you a comprehensive review.

But I like it so far, even though 3 modes (5, 20-50ish, 180 lumens) instead of only 2 would've been preferable.

Also cycling through the modes seems kinda weird, since you always have to turn off the flashlight, to switch from the 5 lumen to the 180 lumen mode via soft/hard press.

But being powered by 1x AAA and having a tail switch (aside from the great quality/price) pretty much sold me on this one.

In an urban/sub-urban environment 5/180 lumen are efficient enough (at least for me) and if you don't mind cycling through the modes in an unfamiliar manner (which you will get used to) I don't see why you shouldn't get it, if you want a more budget friendly light, that is.

My S10 Baton constantly turned itself on in my pockets and drained the batteries rather quick, that's why I got the I3T in the first place.

Have a good one!
