I just sent the same keychain back to Grovemade for a refund this afternoon. I wanted to love it, but after trying it on I still wasn't sure about the security. It's an awesome piece though. I was concerned with the color coming off and I see yours has some wear but it actually looks like a nice patina. How are you liking it?

It’s great! I’ve had it for a year and a half. Carries nicely on a belt loop. It only came off once, when it got snagged on a seatbelt. It does develop a nice patina.

I may have to reconsider at a later time. I was actually able to buy two different key chain belt loop holders for the price of the one. I think the Grovemade is a piece of art but I would have hated to lose it, especially with all my EDC gear on it. If there is ever a sale I'll pick one up again.
