Every day, readers like you proudly share photos of their everyday carry on the site.

Not only is looking through their pockets this way super interesting, but it's also a great way to find really cool gear you never even knew existed (yet somehow, suddenly need…).

When you hover over an item you like and click on it in these photos, you're also letting other EDCers know you find that gear interesting. Each click gets recorded to create a data-driven ranking of the most popular gear, which you can find in our Gear section of the site found in the top menu bar.

Gear with the most views and clicks climbs its way to the top of this feed and lets the EDC community know what's trending right this second.

With August behind us, it looks like you were most interested in slim metal wallets, unique gear pouches, knife-based multi-tools, and more… Let's get into the list.

10. Kaweco Classic Sport Rollerball

Kicking off last month's most popular gear is a staple in Kaweco's writing stable. Available in rollerball or fountain pen, the Kaweco Sport is one of the better pocket-friendly pens out there. The pen is precision crafted in Germany and virtually disappears in your pocket pocket. Their slogan, “small in the hand, great in the pocket” ties in with EDC beliefs and is a great explanation of what the Kaweco Classic Sport has to offer.

9. Victorinox Pioneer

Last month's 9th most popular item is a medium-sized pocket tool hits the sweet spot between practicality and convenience. Measuring 3.7” when closed, the Victorinox Pioneer comes equipped with 7 useful tools including a large blade, can opener, wire stripper, and a reamer. If you liked the Cadet but have space in your pockets for something a little larger, the Pioneer might be for you. It offers larger blades and ditches the nail file in favor of the reamer, which comes in handy if you need to poke a new hole in a belt or for opening packages. It's useful for all around poking and prodding, sparing your blades any damage and saving them for precision work.

8. Seiko Prospex SRPA75K1

Taking cues from both field and expedition-type watches is last month's 8th most popular item, the Seiko Prospex SRPA75K1. The sizeable 42mm stainless steel case comes with two distinct features: extra large field-style hands and markers coated with Seiko's signature lume, and a rotating bezel used as a manual compass for orientation while out in the wilderness. These two make for a bold and interesting look, giving the watch a rugged, outdoor-oriented aesthetic accentuated by a tan calfskin strap. Extra features include 100 meters of water resistance, a date window, and a power reserve of 41 hours for its hacking and hand-winding movement.

7. RIDGE Wallet

The RIDGE Wallets secures its spot at #7 on the list as an appealing take on a minimalist EDC wallet. Its two-plate and elastic construction keeps it slim, durable, and expandable to fit and protect up to 12 cards. While the core of its design remains the same, the RIDGE owes some of its popularity to its customization options. You can trick out a RIDGE with your preferred plate material (with options such as aluminum, carbon fiber, and titanium) and choose between a rigid money clip or a cash strap for handling notes and overflow.

5. WH Tactical Pocket Trauma Kit

EDC-able first aid kits have long been an EDC staple, from compact survival tools making the most out of a tiny mint can all the way to purpose-built, field-ready pouches. The WH Tactical Pocket Trauma Kit fits squarely in the latter category as a pouch filled to the brim with first aid essentials. The compact 500D nylon pouch weighs only half a pound, but manages to fit in both first aid and trauma supplies within its pockets.

4. Kopis Designs STK

Last month's 4th most popular item is a unique custom tool that fills a lot of EDC functions. What looks like a dog tag from a distance is actually an incredibly robust compact multi-tool. Made from top tier materials, the STK is a two-piece sliding tool with functions on every side and facing. The main front piece, made from S35VN stainless steel, comes with edges for cutting, scraping, and prying, and has notches for a set of drivers and openers. This piece locks into the 6AL-4V titanium rear piece, which integrates a lock and (money) clip for ease of carry and extra function. The STK is a detailed and complex custom tool, and fitting of its 4th slot for last month's most popular gear.

3. BOND Tool Roll

There's quite a lot of organization space built into the BOND Tool Roll's design. It starts with three large pockets, sized just right for passports and small notebooks, as well as your smaller electronics. Then there's nine useful “no-slip” elastic holders that can fit your various pens, flashlights, knives, and cables. At the edge of the Tool Roll there's a YKK-zippered compartment for smaller gear and other valuables. When you're done loading it up, just roll it together and close it with the included aircraft-grade aluminum hook and strap. It's a great way to keep your gear organized, and also last month's 3rd most popular item.

2. Secrid Mini Wallet

If you’re in the market for a slim wallet that adds some flash to your carry, check out the Secrid Mini Wallet. At just 16mm flat you can stash cash and a few of your most used cards in three slots along the inside, but what really sets this wallet apart is the aluminum cardholder. 1. MecArmy SGN3

The MecArmy SGN3 boasts a 160 lumen output from its main LED, while two smaller LEDs flanked on either side add extra versatility. A red LED preserves your night vision, while an ultra violet light identifies UV-sensitive items. To power them all, the SGN3 features an on-board battery that conveniently recharges via micro USB in just 90 minutes. It’s all packed into a durable, die-cast alloy body. It breaks the mold of keychain lights, and breaks this month's list to sit at the top of most popular gear.

Honest ridge wallet review from anyone who uses it in front pocket?

I love it. Best wallet I’ve ever owned. Have had it for nearly a year now.
Always carry in my front pocket whether in my suit or jeans. Barely notice it’s there and is quick and easy to use.
I have the money clip on mine as I prefer that, but it doesn’t snag or get stuck in the pocket. Have recommended it to plenty of friends.
