I love Leatherman Gear! I hope they come out with a nice pry bar at some point. That being said i like the griffin tool this far. I may file the points down more so i can pry in thinner gaps.

I modified the bit extenstion and driver holders so i could run a key ring through them. When loose they often fell out of the pouch. Now they are all together and stay in the pouch nicely. I find that i can use the bit extention without attaching it to the mut for most jobs.

What did you use to make the hole in the bit extender?
MEtal bit tin coated drill bit. Not sure what size. Just did the biggest I thought I could without hurting the structure. It’s mad all the difference in being able to carry the set and not have to worry about losing the tools even when in the pouch

That's my issue. I have a custom leather sheath for my wave and it only holds the tool not any bits or extender so I have to leave it at home.
I carry mine all in an additional pouch

That Griffin multi looks useful!
Eh, somewhat. Use it only a couple times a week but it saves me a lot of time when I do

As a Leatherman gear junkie, I can’t wait to purchase the “Free Series P4”. It looks pretty good, I just wish it included a replaceable bit attachment. I also like the knife series...which I will probably get one of them. One nice thing about Leatherman in my humble opinion is they can take a lot of punishment and still work as advertised.
Agreed on the p4 and the sturdiness!

I too love Leatherman gear. I have several items, but my go to tool is my Leatherman MUT. I have used it for years and it has never let me down. I love the hammer and use it all the time.
I feel the MUT is a quality tool for sure but I feel it’s use with an ar15 is not at all that efficient. whats your thought on their new tools for 2019?
