Field Notes: Ambition Edition

"Sure, the difference is but aesthetic, but we can’t help but appreciate the Field Notes’ Ambition Edition notebooks echo the gilded pocket books of yesteryear. Each of the three styles — Olive (ledger lines), Wine (graph paper), and Chocolate (weekly datebook) — is topped with subdued Speckletone covers, gold staples, and matte gold ink for their ledger and graph lines. Afterwards, small batches of these books have their edges smoothed in three passes using an edge gilder which then fuses metallic foil onto them using heat to create an elegant gold edge, all-in-all making for a notebook that’s too gorgeous to miss."
