BOLDR Supply Co. Venture Field Watch

If you check what's on an EDCer's wrist, there's a good chance it'll be a field watch. This style is especially popular among the everyday carry crowd, and for good reason: field watches are simple, durable, reliable, and just plain work. BOLDR Supply Co. put their own unique spin on the classic field watch with their new “Venture” model. Designed to be a near-unbreakable watch, the Venture outfits a tried-and-true military design with a light and rugged titanium case. The rest of its specs are set to impress too, especially for a watch that'll run you less than $150. To sweeten the deal, Everyday Carry readers can save an additional 15% with an exclusive promo code.

Typically, you don’t get as much utility out of a budget watch in terms of both features and materials. That isn't the case with the Venture as it forgoes the cheaper, commonly used brass or steel cases for a solid, aerospace-grade titanium build. The result is a lightweight and durable watch that can take a beating. A modern (and more interesting) case design really makes the watch stand out from other field watches. For example, the lugs sport some interesting angularity that brings a rugged, industrial look to the otherwise softened edges of the round case. The well-balanced proportions tie everything together visually, with the watch measuring in at a versatile 38mm case diameter, 45mm lug-to-lug width, and a low profile 11mm height.

Inside the watch, there’s a reliable Swiss-made ETA Quartz movement with up to three years of battery life. The Venture continues to punch above its price range with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating for optimal legibility. Its uncluttered dial is easy to read in low-light conditions as well, thanks to a generous application of luminous paint to the hands and hour markers. Throughout your adventures, you’ll appreciate the ample 100m of water resistance, and durable nylon strap, complete with matching titanium hardware.

The Venture is available in two attractive finishes. You can snag the watch in a brushed matte titanium or a Jet Black version with DLC coating. If you want to add one to your collection, there’s no better time than now. You can save 15% off your order by entering the code “BOLDRXEDC” at checkout at the link below.

I owned one of the venture watch, fantastic piece of field watch. Superb lightweight and sturdy! I was surprised that it came with a very nice canvas watch pouch. For the price you pay, is just unbeatable. I'm getting another piece. Well done BOLDR, keep up the good work.

Thanks buddy! Welcome to the BOLDR Club!

Nice looking watch, but I am just not seeing what sets this apart from a Bertucci, Seiko 5, or even a Timex that warrants double the price tag...

I was expecting this watch to cost a bit less than $150, but it costs...$149. It is pretty much pointless to say that this watch runs below a price point of $150 when it runs at $149. That dollar makes no realistical difference in price, especially at $150. I would take a different approach to price in the next article.

Someone obviously followed a main rule of marketing with this article 😃! It's logically TRUE , and if you consider the 15% discount this page grants you, then it's even 'actually' true :).

Anyway, this watch got my attention. It's cased in titanium, features a Swiss interior (even if it's a quartz) and sapphire Crystal!

I already own my most favorite of all watch. The citizen Promaster Sky AS4050-51E in Titanium - like 500€ - had the stainless steel version before it was stolen or lost (I was drunk maybe I even gave it away to justify the need of the titanium version to myself) at Oktoberfest 2014...

But this watch seems nice for the price...
