By now it shouldn't be a surprise to see something from the Olight Baton series trending the charts. This Flashlight Friday in particular highlights one of Olight's latest and greatest to date: the S1R Baton II. It has practically everything you'd want in a modern EDC light from specs to features to fit and finish. For starters, it puts out an impressive 1000 lumens when powered by its included rechargeable 16340 battery. That type of output is something you'd usually expect from a much larger light, but the S1R Baton II measures less than 2.5" long, truly putting it in pocket rocket territory. Besides sheer output the S1R Baton II offers modern conveniences as well, like magnetic USB recharging, an electronic side switch with a built-in battery indicator, and 6 useful modes. Of course, it's built to withstand EDC duty, complete with IPX waterproofness and 1.5m impact resistance in its anodized aluminum housing. Check out this crowd-favorite light in full detail at the link below.
