The original Zero Tolerance 0562 was a community favorite, grail-worthy tactical EDC knife made in collaboration with Rick Hinderer, best known for its oversized geometry, unique grind, and extremely resilient ELMAX blade. And in 2019, ZT has updated the design with a more minimalist, streamlined look for people who are looking for the same kind of ergonomics and performance without too much of a tactical bent. With the new ZT 0562TI, you get a gorgeous design built around an all-new titanium handle that gives you a more premium feel without compromise.

Where the original design had black G10 scales that contrasted with the blade, the new ZT 0562TI features a stonewashed titanium handle that matches perfectly with the 3.5" drop-point blade. And when the going gets touch you can rely on that titanium handle to hold the blade open with the solid frame lock, protected against over-travel wear with a special stop screw as part of the design. The blade on this new knife is made of CPM-20CV steel, a community favorite because of a great balance between hardness and ease of maintenance. But just like the original it features Hinderer’s exclusive "slicer" flat grind that makes it great for everyday tasks, while also featuring enough of a pointed tip that makes piercing easy as well.

When you have to get to work, opening the new 0562TI is as easy as actuating the flipper or thumb stud mechanisms. KVT ball bearings in the pivot of the handle make for a smooth experience, even when you’re only able to use one hand. When you’re done, you can slide this 5.3 oz knife into either pocket, because it has a reversible deep-carry clip that allows for tip-up storage.

The new ZT 0562TI takes a community favorite collaboration design and makes it even more premium, even more grail-worthy, than the original. It’s a solid choice for your own everyday carry, especially if you prefer a more clean and minimal aesthetic that’s still entirely functional as an EDC knife.
