The Olight M2R Pro Warrior is the new and improved M2R, with a Turbo output bumped up to 1,800 lumens from 1,500 and almost double the beam intensity from a Cree XHP35 HI LED. While mostly retaining the dimensions and overall weight of its predecessor, the Pro is now powered by a 5,000 mAh 21700 battery for up to 1,200 hours of runtime on its 1-lumen Low. Charging is still in the same magnetic tail dock style, albeit now delivering a 2A current. The aluminum alloy body now sports a pronounced knurling pattern for a better grip, and a more aggressive crenelated bezel. The redesigned tail switch is almost silent and still allows for tail standing, even though the new M2R Pro Warrior now has it raised for easier activation. Modes can be cycled through with the side switch, located towards the head, and a twist of the tail enables lockout to prevent accidental activation during transport.
