Every day, readers like you proudly share photos of their everyday carry on the site.

Not only is looking through their pockets this way super interesting, but it's also a great way to find really cool gear you never even knew existed (yet somehow, suddenly need…).

When you hover over an item you like and click on it in these photos, you're also letting other EDCers know you find that gear interesting. Each click gets recorded to create a data-driven ranking of the most popular gear, which you can find in our Gear section of the site found in the top menu bar.

Gear with the most views and clicks climbs its way to the top of this feed and lets the EDC community know what's trending right this second.

This past November you were keen on slim wallets, unique knives, and cool sources of fire. Let's take a look at all the gear you were most interested in…

The Most Popular EDC Gear from November 2019

10. Victorinox Cadet Alox

First on the list should be familiar to most EDCers, especially with its enduring quality, utility, and collectibility. The Victorinox Cadet Alox--seen here in its limited edition Champagne gold colorway for 2019--continues to be an easy recommendation for anyone looking to build or add to their EDC. Only 84 mm long, impressively thin, with 9 useful functions, and hardy embossed aluminum scales with anodic oxidation as an extra protective layer: these all add up to a multi-tool that's not only easy to carry, but looks as good as it is functional. Since the Cadet’s release there have been a lot of slim blades, multi-function blades, and affordable blades, but rarely do they line up so well in a single product. And with aftermarket parts like clips, scales, and swapped tools adding even more utility, the Cadet also gives you the platform to build the perfect knife.

9. Secrid Mini Wallet

If you’re in the market for a slim wallet that adds some flash to your carry, check out the minimalist pocket essential, the Secrid Mini Wallet. At just 16mm flat you can stash cash and a few of your most used cards in three slots along the inside, but what really sets this wallet apart is the aluminum cardholder. Easily carry up to 12 cards that you can access quickly thanks to a small lever towards the bottom that slides them out the top for you to choose from. Pull out your needed cards at the push of a button. Throw in RFID blocking to protect your information and you've got an EDC wallet that holds its own for everyday needs.

8. Andar Leather Slim Wallet

Our wallets can be one of the most cluttered items in our EDC, weighed down by cards, bills, coins, to receipts and tickets and everything in between. It pays off to pare everything down to the essentials for both personal sanity and health—seriously, don't sit on an overloaded wallet. Last month's 8th most popular item brings it back to the basics. The Andar wallet's slim, full grain leather construction can house up to 3 cards and folded cash, making sure you're only carrying what you really need. Each slot is RFID-protected, ensuring safety even from unseen threats. And with 6 colorways to choose from, it's a perfect (slim) fit for any EDC.

7. ESEE Izula

Named after the ferocious Peruvian Isula bullet ant, the ESEE Izula packs a mean punch in a pocketable package. Skeletonized 1095 carbon steel construction and a 2.63" flat ground blade make it a valuable lightweight addition to any survival kit. These handles even allow plenty of options for your choice of custom scales, from Micarta to paracord and everything in between. A black molded polymer sheath completes the package and offers you options for either neck or lanyard carry. And with 6 colorways to choose from, there's an Izula to perfectly fit your survival or outdoors EDC.

6. Seiko SARB017

The SARB017, also known as the "Alpinist," is a casual weekender option that fits right at home in the office as well as a weekend getaway, and is the 6th most popular item from November. The 40 mm case offers plenty of space to display its striking green dial and gold-toned hands and numerals, surrounded by a rotating inner compass ring that comes in handy while on the trail. A date window takes its spot on the 3 o'clock position, while its complete dial design and complications sit under a sapphire crystal. The SARB017 comes with Seiko's 6R15 automatic movement, an upgrade from their usual movements that adds hacking and hand-winding to its 20 bar (200 meters) water resistance. Last but not least, an elegant brown calfskin strap both complements the SARB017's green dial and completes the weekender aesthetic.

5. Xiaomi 24-Piece Screwdriver Set

Multi-tools are a great way to round out your EDC with a lot of tools without having to carry an entire toolbox, but sometimes, the job needs more than what it can handle. And while a complete set of drivers will get the job done, it doesn't mean that there isn't room for improving with how it's carried. Xiaomi's 24-piece screwdriver set shows that you don't have to choose between form and function. Inside the sleek and stealthy aluminum case is a grip-friendly aluminum handle with a rotary cap design; 24 bits sit alongside the handle in the case, with each bit made from 60 HRC tool steel and applied with a double anti-rust treatment to prevent wear and corrosion. The bits cover your bases from Phillips to Torx, with a total of 9 types to cover everyday needs. And when the work is done, you can pack everything up back into the 10.4 oz case, ready for the next repair.

4. Sony Alpha a6000

They say the best camera is the one you have on you which is true for the most part, but just like the rest of gear, nothing beats the right tool for the job. Which is exactly where a compact camera like last month’s 4th most popular item, the Sony Alpha a6000, fits in to an EDC. While smartphone cameras are getting better and better, there's just no comparison with the sheer amount of variety and quality you can get from a dedicated camera. On the Alpha a6000, this includes a 24.3 MP sensor, quick autofocus, up to 25600 ISO for superb low light photos, and plenty of compatibility with professional aftermarket lenses. A tiltable LCD screen, Wi-Fi with NFC, and customizable controls complete the compact package. The a6000 is the perfect step up from your phone while giving you the convenience of carrying around a camera the fraction of the size of a DSLR, while keeping enough of its big brother's features.

3. Spyderco McBee

Spyderco's McBee is the literal definition of a “little big knife.” The insanely compact Jonathan McNees design (based on his Killer B knife) comes in at only 4” overall with a blade length of 1.52”, but its materials and fit and finish let it punch way above its 1.7 oz weight. Its CTS-XHP blade steel offers top-tier edge retention and corrosion resistance with a wharncliffe shape for optimal utility, while its titanium handles feature a Reeve Integral Lock for solid lock up. A built-in pocket clip and lanyard whole round out the McBee's EDC options, in addition to just letting it disappear in any pocket.

2. Sanrenmu 7046 Multi-function Knife

You read that correctly. For last month’s 2nd most popular item, we're taking a look at a knife that's more than just a simple edge. The Sanrenmu 7046 is unique both for its looks and its utility, with a 2.61" snub-nosed tanto blade made from 814 steel deployed by way of a thumb lift. The blade secures with a liner lock, and folds into the knife's next most interesting feature, its aluminum handles. These standout and skeletonized green handles not only house the 7046's clip and gold-plated liners and even a glass breaker towards the rear, but there's even cutouts for common hex sizes for some added functionality. Altogether, the Sanrenmu 7046 is something different, and definitely an EDC knife that's more than the sum of its parts. Oh, and did we mention it's only $20?

1. TECBOSS Torch Lighter

It’s coming up to that time of the year when the cold wind and rain are picking up, and it’s not a surprise that the TECBOSS Torch Lighter has been popular with our readers and is last month’s most popular item. Unlike typical lighters, a butane lighter is windproof and can deliver a much higher temperature with a focused beam. The TECBOSS Torch Lighter also has a large capacity for a pocket butane lighter, holding 1.8g of fuel at a time for up to 500 ignitions. The flame intensity is easily adjustable with a twist of the gas valve on the back end of the unit, making it versatile enough for a variety of uses, indoor and outdoor alike. The casing made of high quality zinc alloy is sturdy and the slim rounded design is pleasing to the eye and in the hand. It takes only a little push of a finger to slide the large switch up to get a light, and a safety lock prevents accidental activation during transport.
