A reliable field watch with clean lines and a wrist-friendly size climbed the charts for this week’s Timepiece Thursday. The BOLDR Venture Titanium Automatic Watch is the microbrand’s update to their original Swiss quartz-powered watch. A Japanese Caliber NH35A automatic movement powers the new model, featuring seconds hacking, manual winding, and a 41-hour power reserve. A durable 38mm bead-blasted titanium case houses the movement, giving it 200 meters of water resistance and making for a rugged and compact watch that fits a wider variety of wrist sizes. The case design itself also gets an update, featuring integrated loop-lugs that curve down the wrist and allows the watch to settle comfortably on your wrist, in tandem with the included 20mm ballistic nylon NATO strap. Behind the AR-coated sapphire crystal sits a familiar dial, with a highly legible traditional military field watch face paired with lumed pips, numbers, and syringe-styled hands. An orange-tipped seconds hand and a grenade-style crown at the 4-o’clock position provide an aesthetic flair in an otherwise clean and understated industrial design. If you like your watches clean, crisp, legible, and rugged, check out this stylish everyday timepiece available in three colors, at the link below.
