Designed to be mounted on the included band as a headlamp, the Olight Perun features a clear TIR optic that provides a soft flood of light for great visibility at short distances. Its Proximity Protection Function features a built-in infrared distance sensor that automatically lowers the output level when it detects an obstruction nearby (or when you don’t want to blind yourself by putting a hand in front of your face). While these features make it a useful headlamp, the Olight Perun is also designed to be a competent light for everyday use. At 4.41” long and 1.02” thick, IPX-8 water resistant aluminum body is very EDC-friendly. The stainless steel pocket clip and a magnetic base combined with the right angle head, provide you lots of ways to carry, attach, and use this light. The Perun is powered by Olight’s own 3500mAh 18650 battery that allows the Cree XHP50.2 cool white LED a maximum output of 2,000 lumens.
