A curiously shaped (and named) fixed blade knife from Outdoor Edge climbs the trending charts to be this week’s feature for Survival Saturday. The distinctly shaped handle resembles a duck’s head, giving the knife its name: Le Duck. The rubberized handle is TPR-coated, working well with the jimping on the blade spine to give a secure and ergonomic grip even when wet. On the business end, a 2.5" modified tanto blade provides piercing capability while being more than adequate for most EDC slicing and cutting tasks. It’s made of 8Cr14 stainless steel that easily takes a sharp edge, and features a Blackstone coating for durability and wear resistance. The included multi-carry sheath includes both a short lanyard of 550 paracord for neck carry as well as a MOLLE-compatible rotating clip that allows you to attach it to your belt, vest, or pack. The Outdoor Edge Le Duck was designed by custom knife maker Jerry Hossom and makes a compelling case for an affordable, multi-purpose utility and neck knife for EDC. Pick it up at the link below.
