The CRKT M16-01Z EDC Knife brings quite a bit of pedigree to the table. Designed by the man who popularized flippers himself, Kit Carson, the entire M16 line from CRKT has been recognized as one of the top tactical folder designs within the industry. In hand, that translates into a slim yet robust everyday flipper knife weighing just 2.3 ounces. The 01Z is smaller than its other M16 brethren at 4" closed and 7.125" fully opened, and that makes it more suited for daily pocket carry. Teflon bearings and a jimped flipper tab lets you whip out a 3.125" bead-blasted 8Cr13MoV blade that’s hollow ground to a distinct spear-point style as a nod to its tactical roots. When the blade is deployed, the liner lock gets help from CRKT’s AutoLAWKS knife safety, a mechanism which adds an extra degree of safety from the blade folding in on you during hard use. The handles feature hollowed-out and textured glass-filled nylon scales, and the screwed-on pocket clip lets you easily take this knife along in your pocket or pack. The CRKT M16-01Z is a lightweight EDC knife with some tactical sensibilities, and this combination keeps it trending in the EDC charts. Check it out at the link below.

I love the aesthetic of this knife but I wish it came with a better steel.
