Hinderer Knives are driven by a strong heritage, premium blade steel, and a modular pivot system. While the original is known as a high performance flipper, this 3.32-ounce XM-18 variant uses dual thumbstuds to deploy its 3" blade. Like most of Hinderer’s new folders, it uses the Tri-Way Pivot System, letting you choose from using Teflon washers, phosphor bronze washers, or a full bearing setup in the knife’s pivot. The stonewashed spear point blade brings both slicing and piercing performance, and the tough and corrosion-resistant CPM-20CV blade steel boasts superior edge retention. A sturdy titanium framelock keeps the blade secure during use, bolstered by the Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer, an overtravel stop that prevents overextending the locking mechanism during actuation.
