Chris, It was black, but carrying it on my keychain for the past couple years has worn off a bit of finish. The lighting makes it look more worn than it is too. I usually cap the pry ends with a little bit of duct tape so that it doesn't wear holes in my pockets.

Is that just a black Gerber Shard that you removed the black finish from or do they actually sell one with that finish?
