Even with hundreds of options available on the market, there’s nothing quite like owning a knife that’s uniquely your own. And even better if that unique knife is built to the highest standards with some of the best materials available. Hot on the heels of their online custom knife shop, which features personalization options for popular models like the Fastball, Gerber is back with its new Reserve Program. The knife and multi-tool brand steps up its game with a new line of knives only available via their Gerber Reserve website. Gerber makes all the knives at their HQ in Portland, Oregon, and feature exclusive designs and premium materials built in small batches so each knife gets the attention it deserves.

The Terracraft is the fist knife featured in the Gerber Reserve Program. This sturdy, full-sized, fixed blade is designed for outdoor and bushcraft applications. Gerber chose to use premium CPM S30V stainless steel, giving you a tough core with high corrosion-resistance and a long-lasting edge. The thick blade stock and full tang construction means this is a knife that you don’t need to worry about or be gentle with when out in the field. Layered and sculpted G10 scales give you a positive grip when using the Terracraft, while three through-holes in the handle section give you options for lashing and cordage. You can use the reinforced pommel for hammering, and the flat-ground, 90-degree spine allows perfect use as a fire striker. When you’re done, it slips into the included leather sheath, completing the looks and the package. At 9.1" long and 6.4 ounces, this workhorse knife makes for a great companion for the outdoors.

You can get the Terracraft in a Flat Sage colorway featuring green G10 handle scales with red internal lining. Click on the Custom button and you’re led to a 3D interface that lets you pick and combine options for blade finish, sheath color, plus materials and colors for your handle scales and rivets. Every change you make updates the 3D model of the knife, with the price adjusting in real time for your upgrades.

For the S30V drop point blade, you have the following options: a regular durable stonewash finish, or a Cerakote treatment that improves wear resistance and comes in a variety of color options. From there you can personalize it further with lasermarking, giving similar options as the Gerber Custom Shop. Aside from text, you have a wide variety of illustrations, logos, and patterns that you can apply to create a distinct look. You have multiple choices in machined G10 for the handles, like Grey with Red liners or Green with Red liners, akin to the non-custom Terracraft. You can even spec the color and materials of the rivets used to fasten the scales, and these choices stand out through the holes in the handle, with options in Stainless Steel or a Copper. Finally, you can choose from a black or a brown leather sheath to match the rest of your EDC kit.

When you’re all done with your customization, you can save your design and share it on social media for your friends to appreciate. Click on the cart button to place your order, pay to confirm, and within 12-15 days, your one-of-a-kind Terracraft will be ready to ship straight from Gerber’s HQ in Portland to your door.

The Terracraft is now available, and next up for the Reserve Program is the Gerber Sedulo. This new model is available for pre-order on November 12th, 2020, and is designed as a premium pocket folding knife meant for EDC use. More information will be out soon, but for now enjoy a sneak peek at this sleek folder featuring the Pivot Lock, also found on recent Gerber releases like the Sumo and Highbrow Compact.
